A Motion Picture Studio in Tampa?

Who says Hollywood – or even Orlando – has the movie-making market cornered? Did you know the television and film industry spends more than $20 million in Tampa Bay each year?

 

In 2007, we at Maverick proudly joined those ranks, rolling out our debut feature: Marvel: Then and Now, An Evening With Stan Lee And Joe Quesada, Hosted By Kevin Smith.

Okay, so we could have probably come up with a catchier title. But seriously, what from the above would you leave out? The man who created Spider-Man and the rest of the amazing Marvel Comics roster? The current editor-in-chief of Marvel? The hottest young director in Hollywood? The “evening with” part?

See, we were stuck.

We have two other features, both documentaries, in the works, but we obviously can’t discuss them here and now.
